Siapa Saya?(Who am i)
Nor’s Nusantara is a first-of-its-kind podcast, an oral and visual archive that aims to present a fresh perspective on Singapore through the lens of maritime Southeast Asian visual cultures with leading voices in art, archaeology, architecture and even perspectives from history and law. In an era of escalating trade tensions and climate disruption, the series offers a timely perspective, uncovering how centuries of trade, cultural exchange, and blended identities across the region unpacked through visual cultures hold vital lessons for the present. Nusantara is an old Javanese term referring to the world's largest archipelago that is referred to as maritime southeast Asia. “Nusa” means island and “antara” means in-between. So Nusantara means the island in-between. Geographically it sits between the pacific and indian oceans linked by key sea routes.
